Shiranui and Zoro took their places on stage and bowed in greeting to each other at the cue of a gong.  [i]Taiko[/i] drums started playing as they stared each other down and when [i]shamisen[/i] music started playing they started showing off their ninja training with Zoro providing the illusory backdrop.  Their dancing and sparring was reminiscent of [i]kabuki[/i] theatre with Shiranui showing off his skills with various weapons and Zoro doing similarly with his claws and illusions.
