Lyesh sighed as the voice boomed throughout the caverns, she felt the fear the eyes brought as she stared at them but she felt something else, the need to confess her lies, to take another path that would allow her to survive, a smile dawned on her face and she uncurled her wings from inside her clothes, after all, who would see them in this darkness, as black as they were? She stared back at the eyes, in truth she feared them, but she let her voice show nothing of that fear when she spoke, "I never intended to take the child back to her mother, I intended to care for her myself," she took a slow breath, keeping her voice calm, "And there is no feud to the south in the deserts, it was a story I created to get rid of the do-gooders," she let the small smile disappear from her face, showing once again blank expression, her eyes, however, betrayed her fear in the way they tried to wander from the two huge eyes she always seems to end up looking at.

She took a small step back, trying to see through the dark and failing miserably, all she could see were the eyes and those were beginning to bore into her mind, they fear they struck in her heart was a sickening, terrifying fear, but she wouldn't allow it to get the better of her, the devoted zealot that she was, she would find that girl and she would take her under her wing, she would make sure the do-gooders had no say in the matter either. They thought warmed her mind in a way, they thought of being the teacher rather than the student struck a chord in her emotions that she did not know existed, a sort of pride mixed with happiness, despite her fears she smiled to herself, she had set a goal and she would achieve it.
