Character Skeleton:
Name: Guillermo Miguel Herrera
Nickname: "Tejano," or 'The Texan' to his English-speaking associates and enemies. Almost no one in Los Angeles knows his real name, only that he hails from Texas; thus, the nickname comes about. His actual name is in prison records, and 'GMH' is on a tattoo on his upper arm.
Age: 37 years old.
Appearance/Nationality: Guillermo is a Mexican-American, 6'3" tall, with a tanned complexion and long black hair. His eyes are dark brown, and he has several recognizable scars; one on his lower lip, one coming down from his ear to the back of his neck, and a line of even cuts up and down his left forearm, long since scarred over heavily.
He has three tattoos, one of a longhorn skull with a rattlesnake draped around it's horns, which is stretched across his chest, another with his initials on his upper left arm, and a final one in the palm of his right hand, with an image of a black skull. These are all logged into a database in Texas, used to identify members of gangs and local syndicates.
Personality: Guillermo is a vaguely described man with a reputation for fierce loyalty to those he represents, a little-known, well-feared Hispanic syndicate in southern Texas. Much more than a simple gang-member, he has ties that cannot be broken by cash or threats of prison time, and shows little regard toward those he deems 'unprofessional,' unless he has been ordered to do business with them. He is extremely reserved, and almost always silent, although ruthless and violent when confronted with a problem in which murder is the only answer. Although very logical, Guillermo is not a complex man, and does not see right and wrong in most situations, living in a morally gray area.
Classification: Buyer: Guillermo is attempting to buy a large quantity of drugs off of the streets in L.A., and ship it back to Texas for the syndicate to sell on home turf. Crackdowns have pushed the syndicate into buying from places other than Mexico, which is why they have sent Herrera to Los Angeles.
Weapons?: A semi-automatic Beretta AL91 shotgun; it's a 12-gauge shotgun with a wooden stock, and being semi-automatic, it fires with each squeeze of the trigger, rather than having to be pumped. It carries only four rounds, but he keeps extra shells inside his jacket, where a bandolier-like attachment has been sewn in to be easily reached.
He also carries with him a large hunting knife, but not extra guns.
History: Born in Texas, to Mexican parents. Quickly assumed a gang lifestyle, but was arrested almost immediately for a drug deal, in which he took most of the blame. He has spent most of his life in prison on that single charge, and for several extensions for violence behind bars. He earned his rank with the syndicate while pulling jobs in prison; this is also where he learned most of his tricks of the trade. Having hunted since an early age, shooting comes naturally to him, and after many years in a violent prison system, he is more than proficient with fist-fights, and especially any sort of a blade, shank, screw-driver, hammer... anything slightly dangerous becomes a brutal improvised weapon in a hardened prisoner's hands.
