Nakara just smiled as the elf talked to her, paying more attention to the marshal. "Is all of this really necessary? He is unarmed...you didn't even give him a traveling cloak for the rain." She seemed rather unhappy with the human, acting like he was cruel and didn't deserve to be in her presence. She took the ring and looked it over, finding it curious but not expecting that she'd have to use it. She placed in a pocket in her pants, and took a moment to look over the elf. He was rather short and looked very light and young. They didn't seem to be treating him or feeding him well, but she kept it to herself. "Is that all then? I'd have other important matters I need to attend to as well."

Nakara looked at the elf as he whispered to her. She gained a very serious look and stared him in the eyes. "No." She paused a moment and softened her look, "The letter said your name is Cid...Its nice to meet you Cid."

She turned around, directing the elf to follow her out of town. She pulled her hood back over her head even though her hair was already completely soaked, and made her way through the crowd. She made sure he kept close, and only paused to say, "I can understand if the humans are not your favorite race, but do me a favor and take no action against for the time being. I'm not in the mood to deal with things that I don't need to, and we need to make haste. I hope you don't mind a small detour?"

She led him out of town, and along the road back to the forest. When the neared the edge of the tree's, she stopped and looked around, signaling for the young elf to do so as well. After a few moments, she called out with a whistle that sounded an awful lot like a bird. A few seconds passed, and the whistle was returned. She repeated this two more times, with the same response. She looked around one last time and headed off towards the trees saying "This way," to the younger man. About 10 steps into the forest, they were greeted by the sound of elves dropping from the trees. She greeted the one closest to her and began talking to him in a whispered voice as he handed over a short bow and a quiver. "Do you have any spare cloaks or clothes? His 'family' wasn't the happiest, he could use something to wear." He nodded and began looking through a couple of extra packs they had, then handed what he found to her.

She turned around and gave as much as a warm smile as she could muster under her hood and said to him sweetly, "Here is a change of clothes, and you can use this bow and quiver if you so desire-I am adequately equipped and will be fine without them. Can you run? We have a ways to go, and we're in a hurry."

"I don' need a bow, darlin', I'll manage just fine on m'own, if you'd be kind enough t'remove there here rods... t'ain't gonna be pretty, but once they're out I figure I could keep pace with ya." He said with a grin from behind the mask. "I'll be nice an' good, I swear..." Cids reply seemed honest, and she handed the bow and quiver back the her second in command. Giving it some thought, she preceded to attempt to get the iron rods out, hoping he would be okay. It wasn't easy, and it sounded painful, but soon enough he was free, and they were ready to set out once more.

The elves swiftly but silently set out through the forest looking for their second target of the day. She commanded the group to fan out and search the roads to the Elvish Village of Luvrance, looking for their traveler. After awhile they narrowed it down to a few paths, and split up to scout out which one fit the description best. Nakara and her small group of 4 elves, Cid included, were near a rather tall, yet young man carrying a rather beautiful bow. They followed along for awhile to make sure it was who they wanted it to be, as quickly and silently as they could. Finally, she decided it was most likely her man.

She waved for her men to spread out around him, and walked out of the forest a fair distance in front of him so as to not startle him. She pulled down her hood and in a commanding yet friendly voice said, "Elegost Emmual?"
