"Shad," he offered, eyeing the girl speculatively. She seemed... very innocent, he mused. He envied her that.

"Have you seen things too?" She asked hopefully. Shad didn't answer for a moment, simply watching her as she glanced off towards some dying flowers, her expression sympathetic. Then she looked back at him and smiled, making him realize that he hadn't answered her.

Shad frowned a bit, looking away. His eyes were intense as he contemplated all the weird things that he'd seen.

"Just glimpses, mostly," he began slowly. "Though I've had some strange nightmares recently. And also..." His frown deepened. "I had a vision of this one egyptian kid... and then I saw him, later in the day. He was in my maths class." Shad flexed his fingers, feeling his muscles tense up again. "He ticked me off for some reason."

He was quiet after that, forcing himself to relax. He felt oddly comfortable around this girl. It was... unsettling.
