That's not the same thing at all. There is a difference between relaxing with your friends on instant messenger and having a one on one conversation with someone on this forum. You should encourage more attention on this forum ,and not push everyone off to instant messenger land. Need I remind you that a spammer can just as easily whore his forum on instant messenger anyway. So I don't know what the big deal with rewarding the loyal members of the forum is. The mods should give more leniency to the members who have reached over 1,000 quality posts and stop being so scared of members spamming. Especially when they have proven themselves with quality posts and activity. Otherwise it's so much easier to run off to another forum , where their aren't so many nagging restrictions.
And from what I seen on here, this forum can't afford to lose it's loyal members.
