Merion nodded to Halt and Draken as they both suggested he trained his mind in the magical arts. He felt drained for some reason, like another being was taking his energy almost. He let out a faint sigh, leaning against the house. He slid down and his butt tapped the ground slightly, his left leg pulled up slightly, pointing to the left slightly.
He sat there, staring at one of Brisingr's claws, his blinking becoming slower and slower until he didn't open his eyes anymore. For the past three days, Merion hadn't gotten legitimate sleep. With all of the thoughts running through his head, he just couldn't do it without being beyond tired in the morning.
Brisingr hadn't been paying much attention to Merion, just watching Draken slightly as his head looked in the house. Merions head slumped forward, making Brisingr's head jerk downward. *You... Oh.* He thought to Merion, though he didn't get a response aside from a light snore coming from his mouth. His energy had been drained over and over again, he legally shouldn't have been able to move at least 6 hours ago.
For once, Merions head was completely free of worry and fear. For once, he didn't really have to have Vanthm in the back of his head, and for once... he could rest peacefully... at least he hopped he could.
