"Merions got potential... His sudden change has made him even stronger than before...that will help against Vanthm... I'm sure his ability with a sword has gone through the roof... Though his bow skills are still lacking...yet could be even better than mine.... over all, his training is taking leaps and bounds... and I don't know what to do with it."
Adriana kept a weary eye on the window that Draken had been peeking in through, but still kept her full attention on what Halt was saying to her. They were both experienced and well-trained Riders, but he was still older than her...and therefore he had more wisdom. She always took what he was saying in, and tried to apply any knowledge he gave her to life.
“I just hope he doesn't get overwhelmed. It wont always be us against just Vanthm...it will be the Ra'zac and other trained warriors that he has specifically prepared to kill us. It could get messy...he needs to know that it is important to go on even if one of us dies. Or...to just take one fight at a time and not get swallowed by the whole army we will be facing. By the way, where is our tall apprentice?” Adriana gave a little yawn, and leaned her head backwards onto the couch cushion. She hoped that she was making sense, and not coming off as if she was just tiredly babbling.
Usually, when speaking of Vanthm, her heart rate sped up as she got angrier. Now that she was with Halt, and keeping it in mind that she was amongst friends, it was easier for her to keep calm. It was important that the speed of the poison was slowed, so that she could stay sane for the battle against Vanthm. The others, besides herself and Draken of course, seemed to have forgotten about her poison downfall...so she decided to allow it to be forgotten. Just so that they wouldn't worry.
“How are you feeling? Can I get you anything?” She, however, refused to forget about anyone else's wounds. Having Halt fighting at her side was very important, and if he wasn't well...Klassh wouldn't be completely well either.
How are you feeling? Can i get you anything? Draken was mocking her now, his voice getting a bit high pitched as he tried to match her own voice. Adriana smiled a little, knowing exactly what Draken was thinking. He thought she was falling for Halt...and, well, she wasn't going to tell him he was completely wrong.

“My Lord, I take full responsibility for his actions, if it wasn’t for my own inexperience and lack of self-control he wouldn’t have such a blatant lack of self-control.” Mutt tilted his head down, while Eclipse kept his head as close to the ground as possible while Lord Vanthm’s gaze washed over him. “But Lord Vanthm, please do not underestimate how strong we can become under you guidance. As of now my dragon is, yes the smallest dragon, but he is also the most agile and most maneuverable. I have no doubt in my mind that he could defeat your dragon at a race"
Vanthm continued to stare at the dragon, even when Mutt made the comment that his dragon could probably beat his dragon at a race. Already he was getting tired of his new 'apprentice' and he was very tempted to just rip out his throat there for the disrespect towards Lagian.
Just looking at the little fly he could tell that the dragon was weak. He was tiny, and he would probably be slowed down by the weight of his Rider. A dragon with a wing span of seven feet could not possibly hold a Rider and be fully functional. He was still most likely too young to even be rode full-time.
((Sorry to say this, but the dragons in Eragon had a much longer wing span of 7 feet before they could carry their Rider, I think. I remember it being a long time before Eragon could ride his Dragon. Lets keep this all realistic.))
“Well, I have a huge doubt in my mind that your dragon could beat mine. And...I have to say, that I dont appreciate the disrespect...and neither does Lagian.” Vanthm glanced at his best friend, and Dragon, and smirked when Lagian growled.
“I am not the only master here, but he is going to be responsible for some of your training as well. I can tell you right now that your dragon isnt strong enough to last a moment against Klassh and Draken.” The dark lord even surprised himself when he used the enemy Dragons' names.
“And...dont underestimate how much I can see into your weak little mind without you knowing it. I will have to teach you how to block your thoughts properly...”
((Just letting you guys know that Vanthm is just a character that I am playing to the fullest possible Evil. Lol. I'm not trying to out-do your character Raze, but...Vanthm and his Dragon ARE almost all-powerful. I can see how Mutt can become great, but it wouldn't be good to just start him out that way.))
Vanthm had met his match with the rebel Riders Halt and Adriana, and he didn't like he. He also was annoyed that Mutt, practically a youngling, was considering himself already better than Vanthm and his dragon. The dark lord almost felt as if it wasn't even worth giving Mutt and his Dragon a severe beating for their disrespect and egotistic mannerisms. They were so clearly not ready for anything that the rebel's could throw at them.
While he had been speaking to Mutt, and anger in his voice had risen. A static had filled the air, and the clouds had rolled in to cover the castle. Vanthm had been trained, and had trained himself greatly in the field of magic. His emotions now affected the weather at times, and his energy stamina was greater than most. He didn't tire easily when using magic.
