Darkhawk - As far as time goes, I would assume that time is relative to each character in their individual corners of the story. Perhaps the "today," in which Gwenyth, Rowan, and King Rorin exist in, is also the "next day" of all of the other characters who've already spent a night somewhere.
It's far too tedious to keep up on what day it is. As long as the actual time of day is the same when characters meet up, it's all good.
