Eclipse’s mind went quite with, his dragons voice abruptly quieting to an awkward silence, but for good reason on the account that Lord Vanthm had just revealed that he had heard everything that his dragon had been mumbling about for the past minute or so. Though Mutt himself wasn’t in any better of a position, his last comment that he had made to try and justify his dragon size wasn’t in anyway the appropriate thing to say to a dragon rider who had killed more dragon and dragon riders than anyone. The weather had become dreary and cold, clouds blotting out the once clear blue sky. It also felt charged, no doubt a manifestation of Vanthm’s feelings toward him and his dragon as of now. Mutt thought silently to himself reflecting carefully on the words he was choosing. After several seconds, he picked the link back up with his dragon. Slowly he got back of his dragon and then lowered himself to his knees down on his knees, his face continuing down until it was nearly touching the dirt, his dragon following suit bring its head down to the dirt as well as his keeping his eyes focused on the tiny pebbles embedded in the ground, rather than look into the eyes of what very well could be his death.
“Please forgive us Lord Vanthm, We know nothing.” Mutt knew he would either die here, with his face on the ground or he would be allowed to rise again; a gesture of mercy by Lord Vanthm, one that he would not waste. Eclipse also knew that this was not a time to be head strong or prideful, he was now keeping his mind silent, and applying the rule he now consider his personal golden rule. “Never speak unless spoken to”
