Kat drew in a deep breath the air smelled foul against his sensitive nose, His eyes able to see in the darkness without so much as a hindrance. He walked gently along the ground his ears twitched beneath the cowel straining to make out any sound that might alert him to an ambush or some sort of trap. His breathing was slightly heightened due to the nature of this mission. He had no idea that he was walking dead into a trap.

He heard the sound of a gun being cocked and stood still listening for the sound of the trigger being compressed, the sound he was waiting for never came. However he felt a sharp blow to the back of his head, possibly the back of a rifle. He felt his legs giving in from under him as he felt himself falling to the ground. He tried to move his arms to break the fall but found that he was unable to move them. His eyes began to lose focus and everything began to fade to black.
(note: this is all taking place before current time, now I'll bring it to current time)

Kat woke rubbing his head as he had the worst headache he had ever felt. His ears stood up on end immediately as he looked around, he was in an alley way and he could see a bar across the way. His cowel had been pulled up while he was unconscious. He stood slowly and stretched his muscles out which felt as if he had been unconscious for hours. He headed into the bar and sat at one end and noticed a group of soldiers at the other end.
"Excuse me ma'am, can I get something to cure a headace?" he asked quietly, however not soft enough so that he won't be heard.

He kept his cowel up, most people he had discovered didn't accept a neko they could barely put up with elves so he was out of luck at being accepted if he lowered it. He once watched what happened to a kitsune when she revealed her true identity, he still shudders at the mental images.
