"He's not Invincible... He is careless... I wounded him during the battle. Even Dragons can be killed by non Dragon riders... So Even Vanthm can be killed by another Dragon rider... we just need to be careful..."

Adriana broke into a little smile when he mentioned wounding Vanthm. Why hadnt they told her this before? It felt good to know that Vanthm had taken a little beating. It meant that he probably would no longer underestimate them, but it also meant that they were strong enough to perhaps defeat him.

"Even though this is going to sound wrong..." He looked to her..." Could you help me to the bed?"

“Of course,” She laughed some, and stood up slowly from the couch. Draken was still peeking in through the window, but she ignored him. Reaching down she took Halt's hands softly, and pulled back just enough so that it wouldnt hurt him too badly to stand. Then, once he was up, she slid her arm around his waist and started to help him manuever through the house to his room. “Dont stress out about Kalib and Ki...They will probably sleep away tonight but we can try again tomorrow. Maybe he will see the error of his...ways.”

Adriana was just trying to take all the stress away. She knew that if Halt was stressed, that she would be stressed as well. Which meant bad news for her when it came to the poison in her body. “Tomorrow we will continue training with Merion...and try to talk Kalib into agreeing to fight and protect his dragon.” Adriana paused as she opened the door to his bedroom, and then let go of him so that he could sit on the bed. “And...I'm afraid I may have gotten rusty with the sword...so I may have you give me a little mini-lesson with Merion.” At least she wasnt afraid to admit her flaws, and she was willing to work on them.

Vanthm began to walk back towards the castle, his long trench-like coat swaying in the wind that had been created when he lost his temper. “To be honest...I'm not exactly sure as to how to attack the rebel Riders. They have been thoroughly trained...and they can take almost any siutation thrown at them. A full on army coming at them would just give them too much time and space to run. Assassinating them one at a time may be our best bet on ridding them...” Vanthm was glad to have someone to speak about his plans with, other than Lagian of course.

Once inside the castle he turned down an almost untraveled corridor, and opened a wide and tall door. The dining room was brighter than any other in the castle. The walls were lined with maids, all of them wearing blood-stained aprons. Each servant was holding a tray that held uncooked foods and dripping body parts.

“I need a nice juicy thigh.”
A timid maid stepped forwards, and placed her silver platter on the dining room table right in front of a throne-like chair. “Whats your choice?” He inquired, looking from the dripping meat to Mutt's face. On closer inspection...yes, the meat was raw...and it wasnt animal, but human. Vanthm was a cannibal. Dropping himself into his designated chair, Vanthm motioned to another maid...who approached with a pitcher and poured a milky red substance into his silver goblet. “So, do you have any additional ideas as to...how to rid the world of these annoying little rebel Riders?"
