Meta Human War OOC

Background:
The year is 2285, Earth is torn between super human war. Technology has advanced light years from the turn of the millennium, Gene splicing, repulsors, plasma, beam, super soldier, cybernetics it's all a reality now. The Army of Justice (AoJ) rules supreme, for now, upon there thrones in the high tower of New York. The planet is dotted with domes that protect people from super humans. All across the nations these domes use an energy that negates Superhuman powers, but it comes at a price. An extremely rare form of uranium emits the radiation, it can not be replicated by super humans, and its effects are only temporary. It takes vast amounts of energy to pus the field of it's effects so they protect the domes. The United Nations is the only source of Uranium XS101, they have a treaty with the Army of Justice that Super humans will not interfere with Human endeavors and that Humans will not persecute the Metas. Unfortunately AoJ and the humans have a common enemy, the Order of Choatic Anarchy (OAC). These Superhuman Villains, follow a code, crush all goodness and heroism, degrade all that is pure and desecrate all that is holy. They are ruthless and are led by an ultimate evil, but for all of there desires they follow one rule, they will bring about the downfall of the earth by turning it's people to evil, not by destroying them. Although Humans and Metas are killed constantly, especially due to collateral damage, the OAC does not attack the domes or normal humans directly. They see them as pawns not as players. Not everyone can afford to live in the domes, the streets are littered with slums of humans trying to eek out a living in between the three superpowers.
The world itself has changed The Poles have grown rather than receded although no one can figure out why, the pollution output from the domes is massive. The human race has been reduced by one/third, Africa is a barren wasteland after a botched attempt to destroy the AoJ and OAC with nuclear weapons. Canada is a volcanic field thanks to the help of an extremely powerful supervillain, who is now dead. Alaska is a free floating island, England is a warring ground, Europe is mostly slums Domes being more in the middle east. Asia has a few Domes but Japan is a swamp when two Meta's collided in the Sea. South America is a refuge for most Humans and was where the U-XS101 was first found. Almost all the Oceans are out of balance due to some domes being underwater, and to the shifting of the poles most water is now much colder than it should be, making it hard for normal marine life. The monsters of the deep have risen and due to pollution new ones have arrived.
A device has been made that will predict the birth of Meta's, all factions want it for there own reasons, but who will win control of it is up too you.

Factions:

AoJ: The AoJ is for those who support truth and justice, even if it means sacrifice. They are the protectors of a reluctant mankind and even thought they seem unwanted they do there best to stop evil in all it's forms. They are led by the Sentry, there home base is New York

United Nations: The UN has some hand in all of the Domes providing aid, power, security and protection. The are led by a delegation, some pro Meta, most anti Meta.

OAC: The OAC is for those who want to spread evil and chaos. They hate anything good and truly stomp anything in there path, Although they mainly focus on only fighting Metas. They view Humans and the UN as pests, slaves waiting to be conquered. They do things indirectly making some of there ambitions hard to spot and only engaging in combat when they have too. Home base for OAC is Bucharest, Romania.

Renegades: There will be a few of these, they don't claim to be part of anything. They fight for themselves, or others depending on what there motives are. Some renegades don't have powers at all they are just tech nuts with two much money.

Character Sheet:

Name: (Either true name or super name) I want you to be creative, try to make your character more of a symbol than a person, I truly don't mind you picking names that already exist from some characters in kind of the Marvel/DC world.

Age: Keep it realistic, there should be know one from ancient times unless your taking up a mantel.

Description/Appearance: I would really like to see pictures, non-Anime, and I actually think if you use a picture of a current super hero or villian, that would be really cool.Also Gene splicing is a perfected science, if anyone has seen the New Batman series they did a special on that, it's a rage with the kids, but extreme splicing is a rage with Meta's.

Personality: A few sentences about the mannerisms of your character.

Powers: Okay here you go, go nuts. You get two major powers and one minor. I want your minor powers to be something to do with either how you move (flying, driving, hoverboard) no cross continent teleporting keep that kind of LoS please, or talk to me about it. Weapons/Equipment: If you want a weapon you can have one, if your character doesn't need one then no big deal. I don't mind your weapons having powers of there own, such as energy deflection or the ability to cut through metal, that's fine. If you want guns go for it you can run the gammit on those, including mini-guns. But try to stay away from weapons from angelic, magical or demonic origin and nothing made out of U-SX101. Equipment can be anything but a magic tool belt that has anything you need in it, try like one or two things unless your character requires tech.

Background: I would like at least six sentences, this is high-end casual. Tell me about how your character got his powers, were they born with them, were they a soldier, were they infected with a virus, is it a symbiotic alien suit (there are know known alien races sorry, but you can say you have something like that). Tell me about what drives your character, tell me what your character hopes to achieve.

Leave combat actions open ended, and be prepared to take a hit.

It is okay to have a seemingly weaker character, Spiderman beat Superboy, Batman enough said there, and Wolverine can go toe to toe with the Hulk.

And finally all ranged attacks do affect characters in some way.

Just a note, I will not close the RP I think there is room for lots of people, I might even allow dual characters.

Name: The Sentry

Age: 28

Description/Appearance: Basic idea, no Mace.

Personality: The Sentry is courageous to a fault, willing to sacrifice himself for others. He looks as if he carries immense weight on his shoulders. He speaks when he thinks his opinion can help but would rather keep quite. He is haunted by his past and longs for a future of peace, one that he himself will not see. The Sentry has a deep, penetrating, unflinching stare that is almost permanently stuck on his face, a smile sometimes cuts through it but rarely.

Powers: Molecular Manipulation - Sentry has the power to mentally manipulate matter at a molecular level, he does not know the extent of this power nor does he truly want to find out. This power gives him the Ability to convert matter to what he wants, usually in the form of fire balls he hurls at enemies. The power also allows him to change the density of objects allowing him to lift them with ease, or to pull objects apart. He is also capable of exciting the molecules in his hands so he hits with incredible power. If knocked unconscious this power fades, he also cannot go forever his stamina has limits.

Super Human Durability - Sentry can take immense damage without being significantly hurt and being able to excite the molecules in his body to heal faster.

Wings for movement. Sentry can excite the air molecules around him to travel at speeds close to mach 3.

Weapons/Equipment: Sentry wears a Hawk like helmet with a sophisticated HUD and communication gear, advanced Imaging equipment and a link to the databases of the New York tower. The Sentry does not use weapons.

The Sentry was born in a small slum in New York. His parents were incinerated in a fight between two renegades, when he was very young. He remembers hearing his mothers scream and turning to see a hot, orange flash and his parents smoldering skeletons blown into the side of a building. From that day Sentry changed his name and began fighting renegades hand-to-hand in the streets. Sentry was born with his Durability and Molecular Manipulation although he did not know how to use it and when he was young he could only use it on things he was touching, he can now project it a few inches from his body. When he was 14, Sentry had his wings spliced onto his back and his DNA altered to give him the muscle mass to use them and fly. Sentry grew up and began to see that renegades weren't the problem a growing darkness had nearly engulfed the planet. Sentry started to fight this darkness to find it had a name, it was organized and it was widespread. Sentry began his search for those like him to combat evil, he founded the AoJ from the Empire state building, which had been surprisingly left out of a Dome. The Sentry is rarely there though, preferring to float high above the cities watching for Chaos to reach out its dark hand.
