Name: Jessica Brown (Orb)
Age: 19
Description/Appearance:
Jessica usually wears brown, ripped jeans and a black hooded top. When her hood is down Jessica's elbow length blonde hair shows as does her scarred yet youthful face with a small complex looking monocle type thing going over her left eye and ear (not shown in pic). On her hip Jessica wears two belts crossed over each other, each of them holding many gadgets that she made. The most notable of these gagets are the laser pistol, tucked in on her right, as well as three different coloured orbs; white, black and yellow, each about the radius of a large coin.
Personality: Jessica is not shy about speaking her thoughts, she is a keen thinker with a natural ability for desiging and making gadgets and other machinery. Jess rarely makes friends, having a general mistrust of people in general though not for any particular reason, however when she does she is loyal and would gladly risk her life for the friend.
Powers: Jess was born with incredible reflexes and agility, as well as this she has studied and practised many years at making different machinary and gadgets, and so has become very capable at doing so.
Weapons/Equipment: Jess has a complex eyepiece that is linked to both her brainwaves and most of her gadgets, giving her telepathic control over them.
As well as this and her utility belts Jess has what looks like a cross between a skateboard and a surfboard, it has no wheels but can hover, giving Jess the ability to fly when on it. Jessica uses her super reflexes and agility as well as her eyepiece in order to control this board.
Jess' utility belts holds;
- White and Black Orbs, have the ability to shrink to the size of a large coin for transport however when in use they are the size of baseballs and hover around 4-5ft from the ground. These orbs have video cameras, microphones and speakers built into them with a live feed to her eypiece
- Yellow Orb, has the ability to shrink to the size of a large coin for transport however when in use it is the size of a baseball and hovers around 4-5ft from the ground. This orb has a small forcefield emitter which can create a strong forcefield large enough to cover two people or a weaker forcefield with the size to cover four people.
- I.B Plasma Pistol, this powerful pistol shoots a small concentrated dose of plasma at her target. the gun itself is not connected to any other gadgets but the eyepiece works with the white and black orbs to help with her aim.
Background: Jess grew up in one of the European domes, within a family of five (She had two sisters). At the age of ten she started work with her father whom was a famed mechanic within the dome developing many weapons for the guards as well as some more mundane items for the other residents. Jess soon took to working with machinary and her agile hands helped her with the more delicate machine parts, by the age of thirteen she could make most things both better and quicker than her father, by the age of sixteen she had created all her gadgets, but the I.B Plasma Pistol, and took to spending her nights patrolling the more violent parts of the dome. After she witnessed her father being shot dead by a weapon he had made and that a small time crook had stolen, Orb took her gadgets and attacked the thug furiously, he didn't stand a chance and realised that as she took the weapon from his hands before loosing a bolt into his leg. The I.B pistol incinerated the thugs leg and Orb managed to leave it there, calling in the guards before jumping on her board and heading for the dome's exit. When she left the dome, Orb was nineteen years old and she vowed to herself that day that in memory of her father she would use both her gadgets and her father's weapon (which she named the I.B Plasma Pistol) to stop any other innocent men, women or children from being harmed.
