Name: Syel vinterbloom
Gender: Male
Age: 78 (young for an elf)
Race: Elf
Description:

Standing at just over 6ft tall, lithe build with sinewy muscular structure like most elves, his eyes appear so dark that they are black but in reality they are a deep brown
Weapons: A stout ironwood staff covered in ancient runes of the druids, a short iron dagger.
Blessing from his Goddess: Syel was given a druids robe which is enchanted to withstand damage, much like plate mail but nowhere near as heavy, it also affords him some protection against spells but it is not infallible.
History: Born into a noble family in Silveracre's, the fabled home of the elves, Syel found nature's call almost as soon as he could walk, the great outdoors embraced him and enchanted him, in return he embraced the wilderness and the creatures that inhabited the world. Both his parents were proud of his choice, as elves, by nature themselves, were intune with the earth, but Syel took it one step further, he could actually commune with the earth, trees bowed to him so they could hear his words, the very ground opened so his words could reach the minerals and underground creatures, He was blessed of their gods, but with the blessing came a great burden.
In return for the gifts he had been given, powerful spells to command the elements, to summon animals to his bidding and even rip the very trees from the ground to fight alongside his elven brethren, Syel had to live in almost total seclusion.
He had just turned 40 (barely a teenager in elven lifespans) and began to receive splitting headaches, these headaches were caused by all the problems that the other elves were all having, somehow they had all found their way inside Syel's head, it almost drove him mad.
His Goddess Mileka, sent a dove to him, the dove told him that his mind was intune with the world just like his heart and soul, but the mind was not used to picking up on all the thoughts, if he did not leave his homeland to live alone he would be driven mad, it was an unforeseen problem, but one the Goddess swore to him she would work on to rectify.
He had little choice, so after a bittersweet goodbye, Syel lived in isolation in a small grove in the midst of the Wilder lands, Isolated from everyone apart from the animals he could still commune with for almost 40 years, until now that is.
Bio: Syel is by nature a curiousity amongst the elves, he is neither aloof nor uncaring, is quick to smile and is easy to talk to, his demeanor will become serious however if he sees nature or the creatures of the earth being deseacrated, he can understand the use of animals as beasts of burden or for food, but they are not toys to be used as the other races see fit, if he sees this happening he would have no choice but to intervene.
What his Vision was: For three days in a row, Syel dreamt the same disturbing dream, it was disturbing because it was what was yet to come, but on the fourth night he was shown the outcome of the dream if others did not heed their own visions, he could not tell who they were but he knew them all to be courageous and fiercely loyal to their own gods and goddesses, he could see the whole world plunging into total darkness, creatures that bore resemblances to all of the nightmarish creatures imaginable walked the land, they killed without remorse, staining the earth in their wake, rotting the vegetation and slaughtering any living creature that crossed their paths, Syel was aware of a prescence of such malicious intent that even in his sleep Syel was shaking in fear, he did not know the creature, if indeed it was a creature, but it was watching.
The vision lightened, his thoughts still reeling from what he had been shown, Syel almost wept in joy at the sight of the huge white tree he was being shown, it was an ancient oak, twisted in ivy and vines of other plants, the tree was home to huge amounts of animals, all living together in harmony, he understood then that the tree was where he would have to go to find the others, the only trouble was, he didnt know where the tree was, he had never travelled from his grove in almost 40 years and wasnt sure if he would be able to cope being around people, but he had to try.
