Appearance : Hawaiian girl, tan dark hair, actually doesn't go around wearing a bikini that much though. More like a t-shirt and jeans.
Personality : sarcastic, often bitter, indignant, but funny, and generally friendly in more casual situations
Biography : Alana makes up the Maui squadron for the alliance. Apparently it 'just didn't make sense' to put all of the Hawaiian Gears at Pearl Harbor, so they put Alana an island over with a busted up first edition Knight Gear. Alana was originally going to be running one of the Eagle units out of Pearl Harbor, but, because she had a 'problem with authority,' they gave her a 'special assignment.' She's been called up to aid in defense of San Fransisco, despite insisting that her gear 'does not actually work.'
Gear: Works sixty percent of the time, all the time. Alana refers to it as Polunu, or Chubby boy. Basically, its busted. The wiring is all kinds of jacked regardless of countless hours Alana has put into the thing. It probably didn't help that Alana has been trying to rig a new control system for. This consisted of wiring in the control system for the latest playstation model which consists of gloves that control the hands. She's gotten it to work, just not consistently and often has to switch over to the old control system. When it does work, it surprisingly makes it one of the more easily maneuverable Gears to date. Added power cells loaded up obviously onto the left shoulder allow the left arm to wield 3 large chain guns cumulatively firing over 1000 armor piercing bullets per minute. That's if it works. The other hand is, a hand in fact, opposable thumb and everything, which works more consistently than anything else on the thing, and is also loaded up with extra power cells making it optimal for crushing things, or picking up large objects and smashing/throwing stuff with it. Overall it'd probably be the most effective Knight I unit in use if it was at all reliable. She keeps an m4 strapped to the cockpit along with some body armor since it probably won't last through any kind of fight.
