Default OOC: Eltan Bordaire Revolution

This is the story of a different place, of which you may feel familiar with, but have no idea exactly what is going on. This is a galaxy where history has taken a turn for the worse, or perhaps a turn for the better. The names are different, the government is different, but the struggle is the same. As with all things of this kind, this is a struggle between good and evil, right and wrong, immoral and moral. However, where do you lie on this scale? How can you gauge which is which in such a blurred line? The code here is different, the lines here are flawed, and the people within accept all of this with a smile, as if it is all part of the plan.

Who's to say how they live is truly right or wrong? Who's to say that what has unfolded is not for the greater good? Who's to say that one moral code is better than another?

Descend into the massive planet known as Kula IV. The center of the universe as we know it, and the center of the galactic civilization we have become a part of. Here, the governments meet, sending officials and ambassadors to speak before the high council in the grand hall. The High Council is run by the force-guided Sith Lords who resign there. All treaties, trade, and other such communication and interaction must be checked with them first. Complaints and crimes are also overseen by these Sith and their apprentices and peers. They run this empire and everyone within it however they see fit.

The economy has thrived, war has stopped entirely, all military forces have been liquidated and sent home. Weapons are confiscated and destroyed unless needed for galactic trading positions in order to protect from pirates and hostile wildlife. Disagreements are minimal and crime is nearly non-existent. The underworld has been destroyed and those in question killed. The world is at peace as far as its inhabitants are concerned.

However, on the far reaches of the very planet that is the home of the Sith and their central government is a tiny enclave of defectors and resistors. These beings call themselves Jedi and work tirelessly to overthrow their oppressors, and the beings they see as the oppressors of the entire empire that lives and breaths around them. Their numbers are small and the threat of extinction is upon them constantly, as the Sith hunt them tirelessly in an effort to keep a certain peace within their galaxy.

You see, their morale code views crime as no longer present, war obsolete and not present, and black markets as non-existent and removed. We see it differently than they do. Slave trade is very much alive, and the black markets simply surfaced and advertise publicly for the sale of their wares. Murder is not a crime if executed properly and skillfully, theft and rape are just crimes of passion which may even be the inklings of force sensitivity.

However, the very people fighting against them have resorted to similar crimes. They traffic people through their own underground markets, kill innocent people in order to make political points and create their own influences within the government. In fact, they too find themselves delving into the very perverted ways of life they once fought to suppress in a world long forgotten. The books tell of when the Jedi ruled the world and lead the people, but that world is gone now. These staggered resistances work tirelessly to overcome their foes, even if it means becoming the very thing they once hated...
