Templar looked at the woman kindly. It was nice that civilians were helping out. One problem was that Templar wasn't exactly a medic. He practically failed the CPR course.

"Ma'am, can you watch him for a second. I need to go see whats going on."
He didn't wait for her reply nor did he listen to Reiles complaints. He rather simply walked off into the building, the M4 was clanging against his sidearm and the sniper rifle was in his left hand.

He got to the reception desk and looked down at the trail of blood. He bent down and looked at it, placing the butt of the sniper down against dry tile. He wasn't a medic but he thought the blood was coagulated. And that only happened when someone was dead...

"What the..." was all he had time to say before several blood curdling screams rung through his ears. They were coming from deeper inside. At some point of time during the incident the power had managed to go out, leaving the afternoon sun to beat down into the open door. His hand reached up to the com unit and put some pressure on it, activating the squads coms.

"Whats going on in there?"
...No answer.
"Reile, are you hearing this shit?!"
"Ya and it doesn't sound good..."

It was in that moment that Templar swivled his head and saw Johnson in the doorway leading deeper. Something was very wrong about him. He had a bite mark around his neck and he was bleeding profously. His kevlar vest had been torn in multiple places. The rifle was dragging at his feet, hanging on by the strap. The mans eyes were not his own...

Something in Templars gut told him to move, to run. He didn't. Instead he twirled the rifle off the ground and into his arms, aiming at the larger mans chest while sidestepping, moving back outside.

In fresh daylight he never took his eyes off of the stumbling Johnson who was in the dark, pursuing him ever so slightly. Templar was cursing thoroughly in his mind. Another step back and he was clear of the MGs line of sight that Reile was half manning.

"Reile...what the hell is going on?" Templar called over his shoulder yet he never took his eyes off the target. He was unaware that Reile was sweating profously and drifting in and out of consciousness by now...

Revan: I don't think 'killee' is a word.
HK-47: Expletive: Damn it, master, I am an assasination droid... not a dictionary!
