In response to the metal originating from the weapons on the ground flying towards himself, Meme, being a space marine, had an assortment of grenades readily available within an internal belt. A single thought ran threw his mind, and the neural receptors in his helmet picked up the electronic waves and snapped open the belt compartments, where his grenades were (there were 10 grenades; 3 fragmentation grenades, 2 napalm-based fire grenades, 3 flashbangs, 1 shield generation psuedo-grenade, and 1 grenade packed with enough explosive force to leave a 1 metre deep crater with a diameter of 3 metres; there were also a plier, electrical tape, several metres worth of dispensable wiring, and a first-aid kit). He quickly picked out the shield generator, and activated as he bent down and set it into the ground, almost like a firework. Half a second later, a golden-yellow transparent dome-like energy shield expanded outwards, which would hold out all forms of energy and anything with mass less than the average 16-year old.
All of the flying bits of metal struck the shield and evaporated nearly instantly, a few bits making through the shield and bouncing harmlessly off of Meme's hardened Adamantium armour. The shield would only last about 30 seconds though.
During that time, Meme loaded his machine gun with a clip of armour-piercing high-caliber rounds (it had 50 rounds in it). He set it to semi-automatic mode and kneeled down in preparation to shoot the other three people. Obviously hostile.
Before the "bubble shield" went out though, the large man, Rock (though Meme didn't know that), caused the marble around Meme to rise up into a sort of cage. Meme quickly solved the problem by using his only hyper-explosive grenade to explode the marble outwards. He simply walked out of the shield into the cage, pulled the pin on the grenade, walked back inside, and then waited with his eyes closed and with "mute" mode activated in his helmet. Five seconds later, the grenade exploded violently, causing fragments of marble to fly all over the arena at lethal speeds, and ricocheting several times. Not only that, but the grenade itself was deafening, and would almost certainly cause a huge amount of ringing in everybody else's unprotected ears, since the vibrations, or sound waves, would also bounce around the highly non-acoustic marble dome, adding to the loud banging sound.
At this point, two seconds after a bright flash slightly passed his eyelids, Meme opened his eyes and waited another two seconds before unmuting his helmet so as to allow the echoes of the grenade to subside. The sound and echoes themselves would've stopped after the first two seconds of waiting though.
Meme took a second to double-check his gear, and then brought his gun to his shoulder, allowing the heads-up display in his full-head helmet to aim for him (not that he couldn't if he had to manually, it's just that Meme wasn't afraid to pass up on an advantage).
He aimed down the sights to where he last saw Rock, regarding him as the most dangerous enemy at this point in time. The dust from the explosion of the grenade had nearly subsided by now, and the bubble shield would dissipate in about five more seconds. He also made a mental note about the scrap metal that now littered the floor. Because of his extensive post-graduate studying and training, Meme could also be considered an engineer. As such, out of the metal around him, Meme could use his chainsword to shape the metal around him and the spare wiring he had to wire it up to create all sorts of extra weapons in times of need; such as now. With the help of the embedded computers within his helmet, he could also finish complicated engineering tasks in a few seconds or minutes (depending on the difficulty, resources, and complexity of what he was trying to build). The chainsword's exhaust vent (which was placed on the side of the box containing the machinery of the chainsword) could be set for a weak-flamethrower mode, or better yet, a powerful welding torch that only required a few seconds a heat up.

Meme would set his aim on Rock again if he had moved once the dust had subsided, and he would also begin firing 3-burst shots at Rock once the shield itself dissipated.
