Katsuo's stalagmite was blocked by the other man, but in consequence, the jet of flames was halted, which definitely helped Katsuo. Before he could even think to be happy about this though, an extremely loud bang sounded from the man that had just been trapped in rock. Katsuo turned to see several shards of marble flying straight toward him. His head still ringing, he put up a bubble of water around himself, and quickly froze it. However one of the shards made it through the bubble before it froze. Slicing across Katsuo's shoulder, near his neck. A very close call, but he could not afford to be in shock, otherwise it would severely impair his judgment. He could hear sounds from outside his protective bubble of the marble ricocheting off of everything it touched. Once the sound subsided, his ice shield turned back into water, and he could see the marine shooting at what used to be the man Katsuo was fighting, but now was a dragon.
"No you don't," Katsuo said though nobody could hear him outside the bubble. "That guy is mine." The water around him fell to the ground. Katsuo then put his fingers together and lunged his arm forward, causing the water to form a bridge over the man firing shots at the dragon. He then made a running jump on top of it, and slid on it while collecting water around him, making several daggers. When he reached the top, directly above the marine, Katsuo stopped and let all but one dagger shooting straight for the man. He once again slid down the other side. When he landed, he threw the last dagger straight through the bridge, causing it to shatter into pieces. Katsuo began to concentrate on them, but it would take more time than normal, as this was much more ice than he was used to controlling. As he concentrated, he made note of his surroundings. He wasn't going to let someone ambush him as he worked.
