Jason sat for a moment until he heard footsteps behind him he smiled when he saw Dante.
"Hey you, what's up?"
Dante smiled as his stomach suddenly growled, he grinned back up at Jason sheepishly.
"Guess I'm hungry, but I don't feel like cooking."
Jason had to admit that he didn't feel much like cooking either. He glanced down at his watch and smiled, "Well we could always go to that pizza place around the block, I haven't got sick from that one yet."
Dante snorted and as he disappeared around the corner he coughed out, "Yeah, yet being the word."
Moments later, dressed and smiling they were walking out the door. The sun was lower than before and the wind had calmed. Jason was feeling considerably better since earlier that day and he was enjoying himself. Dante pointed and laughed as a neighborhood cat insisted on following them, Jason rolled his eyes and pulled him into the store, Jason couldn't understand how Dante just hadn't got used to Jason's weird attractiveness to animals.
Jason walked up to the corner and ordered his pizza slices, and Dante spoke up, "Do you guys have hot sauce?" Jason made a face, he never understood the taste of the man. "Yeah and some anacid please on the side," both of them laughed at the tellers confused face. Jason handed the boy money and they walked over to the booth.
Jason smiled and grimaced as Dante poured on the hot sauce, "Maybe they should start offering anacid, I'm gonna be listening to you bitch all night."
Dante stuck out his tongue at him, "Oh just cause you stick with cheese and ranch doesn't mean I have too."
"I know but for real, couldn't you have picked something nor-" he glanced up all of sudden and spotted a familiar face. He groaned and sunk into his seat a little bit, "Oh it's that damn cop from earlier, great!"
"Cop?!? What Cop!?" Dante asked, a little too loudly.
"It's a long story, shh, I'll tell you later, let's just keep our voices down." Jason so did not want to have to deal with the woman again, he just wanted his life back.
