Angela smiled softly from behind her cup of tea, her officers were almost like her family now and she had come to love their little quirks; it was refreshing to being among the living once more. She nodded to Dietmar as he sat at the table acknowledging him with a smile, though she said nothing as she watched as one by one they came into the mess hall. Jazz, with his hot temper as always eating with much enthusiasm, though he did slow to savor his second plate. Then there was the silent Arcia who sat and ate waiting patiently for the unofficial to begin, the only one that was missing from the table was Arvinia. This was to be expected because she was going to take a bit to come out of slumber due to being in nothing but total darkness while they all slept.
As if on cue in came Zephyr looking all flustered and excited, seeming to have missed their company during the long solitary month of watching the ship while they all slumbered. She listened quietly to his report still sipping her tea as she looked down at the data pad in her hand, though the ship had already briefed her while she showered in her quarters, she still listened to his report finding him to be very detailed and precise. When he was done she set down her cup, "Good job as always Zephyr. I knew that when I selected you as my second that you would more then surpass my hopes." she gave him a warm smile then looked about the table at the rest of them gathered there. "Ok. This could be the planet that we have been searching for so long. Millions of lives depend on us doing our job and what were trained to do. This is it, what we have been waiting for. So I'm going to need everyone working at the best and getting prepared to go down to the planet in three days time." she says sitting back waiting to see if they had anything to add before dismissing them to their stations.
