He'd been observing Lydia for over an hour, ahead of them shone the moonlight, they were almost out, Varnac pointed ahead as he quickened his pace, they were running out of time, he didn't plan on dying today. He checked behind him to see if Lydia had been following, she was, his army didn't pick up their speed, they didn't have to worry about the sun, only Varnac did, but they still usually came with him, he drowned his suspicion and looked ahead.
Soon he'd be able to rest, and then after the resting, he'd be another step close to achieving his dream, his goal, but he'd have to make sure Lydia survived the forest, he didn't need her being paranoid every step of the way, he needed her to be focused. His armys thoughts had left his mind, he was too far away to hear them now, he wondered what they were up to, if they were going to leave him..he'd hoped not, but it was a possibility. He finally made it out of the woods and saw that the once dark sky grew bluer, and bluer, brighter, and brighter.
