Angela watched as her officers dispersed, leaving her and her second in command alone. "I slept fairly well for the most part, no horrible nightmares. At least none that I can remember which is a good thing." she says casually, "And please stop calling me captain when we are not on the bridge. We are friends so you may address me as Angela." she gives and a warm smile before she joins him in looking out the window. "I really do appreciate you take me up on the offer and joining my crew. With you here I know that we will succeed in our mission." she says not looking at him as she watched the stars go by.
Turning to him now, "How was the time spent alone for you? I mean I hope you were not too bored here all alone on this ship? It can be very hard even for one of your kind to go for long stretches of time without some form of social interaction. Though I really do appreciate you doing this for us, had the ship had some kind of an malfunction or been attacked while we slept..." her voice trailed off as the thought brought back that initial rush of fear she had gotten just before the lip to her pod had closed. "Needless to say you are more then proving your worth to this crew and I hope you stay with us even after we begin colonizing our new home world. Well hopefully this will be our new home world." she said not wanting to jinx anything or get her hopes up even higher then they already were.
