Dayle Storm stopped and sniffed the air.
"Vampire."
He cocked his head to the right, and heard the vampire emerging from the water.
"Mermaid to..."
He pulld out his flask and swallowed two mouthfuls of brandy. He then sighed and lifted his sword of his back.
"Lets make this quick, I need more brandy."
and he silently stalked towards the waters edge.
