((Thanks, I don't want to see an arena battle die because someone godmoded))
Cursing into the helmet she was not able to see the lizard man behind the pile of sand. Suddenly her helmet was beeping at her, warning her that something was coming at her. Before she could even turn her head, the sand pinged off her suit and she cursed again in frustration. How was she suppose to defend herself when the helmet warned her at a late time? She waited for the sand barrage to end and just stood near the perimeter. Finally as the stupid sand cleared, she looked around to try and figure out what happened.
The woman with the bow did not have any problems making herself known to everyone in the arena, as she stood proudly waiting for an opponent. Out of the corner of her eye she thought that yet anouther combatant had joined the battle. Zooming in on his figure a man with a, Scythe? "What the heck is a guy going to do with a scythe?" She thought silently to herself. She was just about to head back to the pile of sand when she spotted someone already taking cover behind it. Nyra had failed to notice his entrance into the arena so she studied him for a moment. JohnJohn had normal cloths on with a, skateboard? "Scythes, Bows, and now Skateboards? What kind of battle is this?" She had never experienced anyone outside of her own species, or with any magical powers for that matter. So this arena was full of things that were very odd to her.
Ignoring the oddities she pulled her sniper off its back holster and examined the heat gage. The color was green with a slight tint of orange, meaning that it was almost completely cooled down. Grinning she put her pistol back and aimed for the unsuspecting opponent. The shot was only some 100 yards away, nothing like the last 200 yard shot. Making the several necessary calculations in her head, she applied those calculations to her aim. After only three seconds of aiming she pulled the trigger and watched the bullet devour the space between her and JohnJohn. This again had made a loud cracking noise that bounce off the walls of the dome, creating an annoying echoing effect. Again the winds inside the dome effected the accuracy of the shot, but she was closer to the target. So this one had a high percentage of actually hitting the target. Sadly it was only until the bullet had left the barrel when she realized her stupidity.
The bullet left a thin trail of smoke leading directly to her, and there were no piles of sand near her to take cover. Nyra had left herself wide open. Not waiting to see if the bullet hit her target or not she rushed to the opposite pile of sand. Unlike the woman with the bow, she did not want to reveal her position to anyone if possible. That was part of being a sniper, to be able to stay undetected. Well anyone could probably see her now as she rushed to the unused pile of sand, where she once thought the reptilian man had hid behind.
