Riku grinned as he saw his attack had worked better than planned. He sprinted for the closest sandpile to her, and dove behind it, it was always good to have cover. He pointed his hand at the sandpile the girl was behind, a charged a ball of condensed fire, flickering back and forth, lighting up up the area around him. Then, with one quick movement, his hand shot foward and a small shot of blood red fire formed from the ball of flames, and hit the sandpile. He watched as the searing heat began to turn the sand into glass. This tactic was to get his enemy to come out, but maybe he would get lucky and find her body inside of the glass.

Riku eyed aound him, seeing if anyone was planning an attack on him while he was making his glass mountain, and saw nobody, the large sand mountain was now fully glass, and RIku was a little exhausted, he had forgot to see if his enemy had escaped, ruining the whole purpose of the plan. Dammit!" he thought to himself. He laid back on the pile for a moment rest, and felt something buried beneath the surface. "Tell me it's not.." He pulled the object out, and his face turned ashen. A land mine, and a deadly one by the looks of it. He dropped it an ran, fully exposing himself, trying to scramble to the nearest pile of....glass. Dammit, he couldn't go back there! He stood stupidly in the middle of the arena, despratley trying to think of a solution.
