Riku had positioned himself right next to Frix, and the reptile took advantage of this moment of vulnerability.

Frix charged at Riku, putting away his gun and taking out his dagger, and positioned himself infront of the befuddled person. As he lept at his foe, Frix deactivated his cloaking device, hoping to startle Riku by seemingly coming from nowhere. His mouth was opened wide, hissing, and heading for Riku's face and dagger was pointing at the chest of Riku. The lizard man's feet were pointed forwards in an attempt to dig his claws into Riku's belly, or at least knock him down. Frix is now easily visible, but is hoping that Riku will not expect this surprise attack.
