The bright lights always dazzled the newcomers.... always.... They would be unable to speak here... only...listen. Well he had a lot to say. He twirled his staff with his fingers and tapped on the hard wooden stage... In fact that was the only thing there to tap... the rest was just a far off black space... stars twinkling in the distance. He gave the contestants a huge smile as they could not speak here and had to listen to what he had to say, “Good evening! There is no use trying to speak! No voice will come from your mouths! I have selected you few for a little game... a game in which you have no choice but to accept!” He gave the contestants a more cheesier grin, “As you may be aware... I hold powers to do great things! Rewards... could be great! You see all you have to do is complete all the tasks I set for you... for my enjoyment! You could say I invented the coliseum with all the gladiators! Who do you think put it in their heads? Well now you shall be put in more... let’s say... ridiculous situations! I’m not saying that it won’t be dangerous! Of course you are being forced to play.... I guess you could eliminate yourself from the games, all you have to do is not complete the tasks I set you, however, I don’t think you will want to fail these tasks... because you ether complete all tasks or die... I shall be judging you on the most exciting and creative way out of these situations, the winner of a situation gains a point! One other thing you don’t have to win to live, but you would lose.... let’s say a good reward! In a moment I’m going to teleport you all to your quarters while the games a running, trust me you will enjoy the accommodation, it is like what you earth people would call a 10 star hotel, and you will be staying in rooms known as presidential suites for your comfort. If you’re hungry help your self’s to the kitchen, everything is free and you may want to meet each other, it’s always good to know who your up against... well enough from me and see you in an hour!”
He smiled tapped his staff on the ground sending all the contestants teleporting to their accommodation.
