Edrik was beside himself with joy. Despite his constant gloom at the loss of his money, and the foul weather, the stench of the ogre's indigestion - presumably caused by the giant fish pulled out of the sea - and the constant sensation that something abominably evil was aboard the boat, he was happy at last. Lustria! They were here! He could be rid of his passengers at long last!
Crossing to the sleeping pasengers - except the beggar, who seemed to never rest - he kicked them awake, smartly stepping back as the monstrosities growled and pushed themselves up.
'Lustria, people! Land of hope and gold!' And the highest density of poisonous reptiles anywhere in the Old World. He was glad to be staying aboard the boat. 'Unfortunately, due to the tides, I cannot get in any closer, so you'll have to swim to shore.' This was a lie, but he wasn't going anywhere near the shore himself. 'Up, people! These are treacherous waters and you should swim ashore while you can!'

Beneath the timbers, Kritch woke, his backside numb from cold. At last-last! Lustria! Warpstone! Fame! The chance to stab things!
But before he headed ashore, something needed to be dealt with. The boatlord had been giving him a headache with his pretentious bellowings for the past week, and Kritch didn't like headaches. The manthing must be punished, as soon as these other passengers had left. Petty, he knew, but skaven were good at petty.
Pulling out his favourite dagger, he daubed a corrosive poison onto it, and crept silently towards the deck.
