Long ago, on the continent of Pangea, there once lived the six gods of creation:The Almighty Water Dragon of the Seas, The Great Skybax Eagle, The Phoenix Gryphon of the Abyss, The Mighty Wolf of the Earth, The Lightning Horse of the Clouds, and the Chimera of Darkness. For a time they live in peace, watching as land, people and nature evolved, grew and prospered. However, like most good things, everything came to a crashing end. The Chimera of Darkness, known as Valcenz, became greedy with power; so over the next ten years he secretly began to use his control over darkness to manipulate the minds of men to submit to his will and power. He then started to create his empire and at its center the capital:The Black city of Halcyon. He built it just beyond the Marshlands of Kolros, also know as the Rainy Basin. A place only where the most evil of creatures go. On the other side of the capital, it is surrounded by the mountain craigs of Origos, where supposedly the Pangolins originated from, and on the other side of the moutains lies a rocky descent to a watery grave in the Panthalassa Ocean. The other gods became infuriated, but could nothing tro stop him because they vowed not to directly interfer with the affairs of humans, elves or any other race. But that did not mean they could not give them the ability to defeat him. They entrusted five elves with the powers of water, fire, earth, air, and lightning:Alex, Alexis, Chance, Thomas and Vincent. The Battle raged on for weeks, it shook Pangea with its force. But, no matter how hard they tried, Valcenz was too strong, they had underestimated his powers and were defeated. However, instead of killing them, he exiled them to the outlands of Harad, which was located on the other side of Pangea where the earth meet the sea. Valcenz knew that if he banished them, the shock of them losing the battle would only be enough to destroy them from the inside out. However, he underestimated their will, they cast a powerful spell, that when an elf of a strong will, and determination was born, they would be entrusted with one of the five elements. However, there was a catch, they would have to have someone they cared about murdered by Valcenz himself. Unfortunetly, since Valcenz ruled the land through fear, it would be a long time before their spell would come to pass. One thousand years passed as Valcenz hold over Pangea grew stronger, his empire spreading to every corner of the continent. However, a whisper of a rumor has been spreading throughout Pangea of five elves with the powers of the gods have been traveling across the lands heading for the capital:Halcyon where Valcenz resides over.

Places, People, and technology

Zen- the currency that is used throughout Pangea. one zen is the equivalent to 20 dollars.
Tracers-a small robotic orb that attaches to rocks and reports back to rooks any suspicious activity.
Pangolins-an armored mammal that stands up to six feet tall on all four legs. It has large fangs on its top jaw that are hollow and contain a deadly poison. Knights use them as a replacement for horses because they can travel over land much faster and are deadly too. However, they can only travel at night because they cannot see in the sun, but at night they can see up to a mile away. They have one weakness, a soft spot underneath the neck. Most of them have been tammed by knights, however there are still wild pangolins that hunt in packs of two to three. Both the tame and wild Panoglins are very arggessive and love to kill for fun.

Skybax eagle- a large eagle that stands over seven feet tall. They live in the mountains of Kanror:often known as the forbidden mountains because people believe it is sacred; the tallest mountain range in Pangea. The elves that survived Valcenz raids live there with the Skybax in harmony, and have been building up an army to counter Valcenz chess pieces. Skybax eagles are very intelligent. They have their own language, but they can speak english and elvish. The elves that live there usually ride elvish horses for transport but if ever needed the Skybax have made a treaty with them to ride them into battle when their army is ready to fight Valcenz.

Chess Pieces

Pawn-often called the kings royal guard. most are foot soldiers. usually carry swords and stun guns. The patrol of the the provinces outside the capital. and from time to time raid the villages for food and women.
Rooks-They control all of the technological advancement. They create new ways of watching and controling the general population. Have a tattoo of a chimera on their neck.
Bishops-They are in charge of all the politics and taxes. They collect taxes, burn down homes if they can not pay up. They are the only ones who can use black magic. The staffs that they use are made out of human bone and at the top, contains a magical stone called a sun stone that increases their power ten fold. Have a tattoo of a chimera on their neck
Knights- They use all of the technology that the rooks create and use it to track down small rebellions that are against Valcenz and bring them to the capital to collect the bounties. Use Pangolins for transportation. Have a tattoo of a chimera on their neck.

Rebels- A group of humans who have been secretly recruiting people to overthrow the evil Valcenz. Have also been stealing weapons. Not much is known about them.

Sun Stone-A very rare stone that can be found in Canyon city. If found, it can protect any one within ten feet from any black magic. There are different kinds:Red, black, yellow and white and rare green and blue
yellow sun stones are common and are a source of power for all the provinces, villages and cities.
red and black sun stones are used by bishops because they are more powerful than the others.
white sun stones are used mostly by healers

The World Beneath- A labyrinth of tunnels that is located beneath Pangea. Long ago, The rebel forces found the world beneath by accident and have been using the system of tunnels to hide and use it to store their weapons. There are only three entrances, but only one has been found. It it guarded by Mossosaurs(basicly very large alligators) and Tyranadons(basicly very large reptile birds, with teeth and claws)

If you wish to play one of the five lights you must be an elf. Also They cannot create their element, they can draw it from the environment, manipulate it, change it but CANNOT create it. and they can only change into their elemental form when in an extreme rage. Please state what side you are on, whether you are with the rebels, the five lights or on Valcenz side. If you wish to play Valcenz, you can I will just need to tell you some things.
