I had a character idea that I thought might be appropriate, but only if goblins are considered close cousins of the Orcs. This is heavily based upon the Warhammer universe, commandeered for personal use. Read my post and tell me what you think, for ease or reference, I've also included a small character bio.

If not, I was also thinking that I could play one of the human jailers, eventually chasing the freed orcs as they make their way home.

Or, if not that either, I suppose I could also just be an orc...*shrug*

Name: Snikrot the Magnificent (though more commonly known as Snikrot the Yellow)

Description: Snikrot is a typical tribal goblin, short, wiry, with long gangly, green limbs and large pointed features. As indicative of his chosen profession he is usually seen swathed in dirty robes of rags and hide, dangling from the leather harness strapped to his skinny torso are all sorts of moldy ingredients, fetishes, totems, and other nasty bits. He shakes his short spear, adorned with more feathers, talismans, and even nastier critter bits. Arranged around him are a quintet of puffy, fleshy red spheres. Snikrot lets out a shrill cry and pokes at the spheres, waking the Squigs from their slumber, bead little eyes blink open, and massive, gaping maws split the spherical creatures nearly in two as they yawn and snap in irritation, crammed full of large, yellow fangs. Stubby, but powerful legs lift them off the ground as they bound and bounce forwards at Snikrots insistence.

History: Snikrot is a conflicted creature, who isn't even aware of the conflict. On one hand, he is likely the most arrogant and self-confident Goblin to be born since Digit the Squishy. He has dreams of being a great warlord of greenskins, overshadowing all the old Orcish heroes and fables. On the other hand, true to his nature, he is a cowardly, skittish, and weak willed creature. Shifting quickly between bombastic and stubborn boasts and sniveling posturing, if not for Snikrots inexplicable talents his irrational and irritating personality would likely have gotten him crushed, eaten, or both long ago. But as it were, by the fickle hand of fate or luck, Snikrot was given the gifts he needed to not only survive in the harsh world around him, but perhaps even see his vision through, at least, until something even more nasty than he comes along to gobble him up. In a brilliant moment of instinct, the young goblin found he possessed a measure of shamanistic talent, and in another blinding moment chance and insight he came upon a small herd of sleeping Squigs. Grinning with malicious cunning he approached the sleeping beasts, calling upon the favor of the spirits he plunged his spear into the exposed eye of the largest Squig. Stabbing it again and again he virtually liquefied the beasts small brain, and woke the rest of the pack up. Seeing their alpha killed by the tiny goblin gave the creatures pause. Quickly using his magiks to cow their confused and primitive minds before they decided to bite something vital out of him, he was able to force their obedience and recognition of his leadership. Enforcing their obedience through violence, magic, and a steady supply of fresh meat, Snikrot roamed the wilderness with his new pets until he had his third and final moment of providence. He still needed some Orcs, and there were plenty of Orcs in that big walled prison to the south. Grinning from ear to ear, Snikrot made his way south with the intention of storming the human camp, killing all the guards, and leading all the prisoners who obviously would want to follow him out of gratitude and in recognition of his obvious greatness.
