Turok looked to Moon and smiled then looked at the branch he was standing on and sighed as he jumped forward and landed on the fresh snow causing it to crunch under his feet. The tree he was standing on then fell in on itself, rotted out and dead and Kishimaru realized how he killed him. So Kishimaru nodded a confirmation of who he was. Turok looked in his vest then pulled a pearl white hand and tossed it at Kishimaru’s feet, “That would be what’s left of your friend Sloth. It seems that she was trying to get free to be with you to help you, but Apocalypse found out before she could get away and that is what is left of her. Pity how everyone you care for dies.” Kishimaru stared in disbelief as he reached down and touched it and he could feel the coldness of it and knew that it was true… He remembered the last time that he saw her alive and the pain ripped thru him more than any of his tortures those long years.
[It was a calm day, they were sitting on the castles rooftop looking down at the charred lands after Wrath had gotten tired of seeing trees, and hearing birds chirp in the mornings.] “This is wrong…” Sloth’s voice was low and she was considerably younger so she resembled a 12 year old but looked up at Kishimaru as she leaned on him looking at the ground. “Why do they continue to destroy everything? It only causes pain. I don’t like pain.” Kishimaru held her close to him and sighed as his eyes were heavy, he had spent some time away from her because of the assignment he was given to him by Apocalypse earlier. “We do as we are told to. Nothing more. Haven’t you learned that from what I have taught you little one?” Kishimaru looked down at her his eyes soft and a smile on his lips something that was only showed to her in those days.
“I know that Kishi… But its still wrong.” Deep inside Kishimaru knew that as well but he had always followed Apocalypse, “Then we must do something to change things shouldn’t we?” Kishimaru stood up determination written all over his body as he looked up to the skies, back then Baraga was always strapped to his back tightly and his power always leaked out. Sloth looked up at him and smiled, “Really? We will save the people who suffer?” Kishimaru nodded as he took her hand and then looked out there, “But I must go alone for now. Your not ready. You will be safe here.” She started to cry as she held onto his waist, “Your leaving me! You cant!! You never leave me! You have to take me with you!!!” Kishimaru looked at her then pushed her away, “I’ll be back for you. I promise.” With that he left, and that was the last time he ever saw Sloth.
[Those memories were all he had left of her and he was burning inside as he knew the one reason he would never see her again, was because of Apocalypse.] He stood tears still falling from his face as he faced Turok, “Done crying now? Its about time. I have a schedule to keep you know.” Kishimaru was looking down tears no longer flowing and a subtle wind started to stir around him. Thats when the power exploded forth in a wave of energy and the power baring down on them all was more than thought possible from the small juggernaut. His shirt was ripped apart showing his scared chest and the word ‘EXILE’ burning brightly, “Your all mine…” Turok smiled as he snapped his fingers and a mighty roar came from the forest. The fallen dragon who’s skull was now visible, and a decaying stench was coming from him. “Then this play thing will keep your friend busy.” He smirked as he looked at Moon then the dragon lunged at her roaring as Kishimaru drew Baraga and rushed at Turok.
The dragon circled around Moon, its 60 feet surrounding her compeletly as it kept its distance but in its stomach you could see the fire burning brightly. Kishimaru slashed his sword downward at Turok but he side stepped it. Though the speed at which Kishimaru was coming at him at was far greater than anything he couldve thought possible. Again and again he was getting closer and closer to hitting him dead on and Turok started to realize enraging this juggernaut was a fatal mistake he wouldnt live to learn from.
