Well... sometimes, it's just a change of personality, change of environment or just a realisation.
...There are all sorts of things to explain it. None of them making the feelings feel any less bad, however.
Some people are like that though, but... I believe in the good heart of all people. We weren't all born wretched, those who are, are like that for their own personal reasons.
