William stopped playing to look up at her. "Lil... as long as I have known you, you never said anything about liking me. You never so much as hinted, so what has changed your mind?" He stood and looked into her eyes, trying to see weither she was playing him like the slightly out of tuned fiddle that was humming down the hall.

He decided not to wait around, "Look, if your serious, prove it." With that, he turned and started to walk away.
