Actually, it is possible. If the person was pissed off, or if there was some hormone high or something, it's very likely. I've seen it happen for no reason to my friends before.

My childhood was slightly different. My parents were basically never around, and when they got home, they'd be complete asshats towards me, so, I hate my parents too.

Ask any Pure Asian person, and you'll see that their parents act in a similar, extreme manner.
