Yume grinned back behind her as Redante's tall, iconic towers became blocked by the forest she had been running through for quite some time now. She wasn't out of the woods yet though... literally and metaphorically. If her father so chose, he'd undoubtedly send any sort of army or guardians to come and get her, if not accompany her... Then again, sometimes, her father might do nothing at all, which was of course, what she hoped for.
Still, she wasn't out of breath yet, and it'd be good to run as far as she could, as fast as she could, as long as she could... Now that she was out of the capital, she could feel herself beginning to perk up. Her senses were going wild with anticipation, and her body was buzzing all over in eagerness for battle... and survival. It was believed since ancient times that her family, the Kasai, were not only descended from the flames of Hell, but the wolf demons who lurked in Hell, also... At times like this, she was closer to believing it than doubt, seeing as she did, indeed, feel like an animal let out of its cage. Really, she almost felt like howling.

Sin stared blandly at the fire he'd made before him, then glanced around at the forest, unsure of this being the best idea he'd had... As it was, he couldn't see the sky, and had no way of telling if there'd be rain, or even snowfall. Wherever he was though, there was a distinct chill in the air...
Sighing, he decided not to concern himself with it. If he had to sleep in the rain or the snow, he was sure it would be fine in the end. His real concern was outrunning the woman he knew was tailing him, ever since Protenis. He had to question whether it had really been a good idea to run from that place... but when people slowly approached with steel batons and tazers, talking carefully like one does when cornering a wild beast, well... its not the most settling of scenarios to first wake up to. And to this moment he still had no idea what the hell had happened before all of that... Just waking, then the city, then the people, then the chasers... Then that loud, distinct voice in his head that ordered him to RUN...
Frowning a bit, he huddled up, trying to maintain as much warmth as he could. For some reason, though he couldn't remember much about himself, he could remember these basic survival techniques. Sure, being able to read the weather would have been nice too, but he supposed there was a limit to just how much one could do... And on that note, his eyes slowly wandered to his right forearm, staring hard at the long, faded scratch that came nearly from elbow to wrist. It had been a vicious wound that the woman had inflicted on him not far from the city walls of Protenis, and now... now it was nearly gone.
And he was sure that wasn't exactly normal...

((Alright, bringing this guy in a LOT sooner than I'd expected, sorry about that. I just feel the very strong need to put someone in something OTHER than a forest. ^ ^))
Izak smirked, clapping his pocket watch shut and gently putting it back in its place. Dark eyes watching the city, he imagined she had to be well out of its protective walls by now, if his estimates were correct. He'd watched her fall asleep in the peaceful gardens, completely oblivious to what waking would bring her, but he had figured just as much. Looking at the empty patch of grass where she'd lain just hours ago, he could sense she was nowhere within Redante's structures, only making the small smirk on his face more prominent as he realized he'd been correct all along...
Walking through the evening crowds he made his way to one particular shop, stopping in and purchasing himself a new set of enchanted throwing daggers. There was no reason to dirty his favorites for this mission right now, after all. He did detest using them on monsters and their sort, preferring to keep them handy on special occasions, like balls or parties where he might be forced to protect the princess from the shadows... or assassinations...
As he emerged from the shop he flicked a pair of the new weapons around between his fingers with precision, getting used to their weight and size, which didn't take too long. He still had time to kill, though, and no idea how to do it. Amazing how a killer himself couldn't fathom a way to get rid of something so seemingly simple...
