Kal doesnt flinch at the near-miss, maintaining his rigid posture. He couldnt help it; it was all but programed into his muscle memory.

Good void, he'd almost fired on a Jedi! If his eyes betrayed anything it was mortification, but the situation -had- been highly unusual and confusing. For both of them, no doubt. Kal had no experience with Bothans, but that his torso was still attatched to his waist told him the Jedi was curious enough to wait for an answer.

"Sir. My designation is RCC-1129. I'm a Commando, sir. Not Infantry. We serve the Jedi and the Republic. Order 66, by our definition, runs contrary to the Republic's best intrests, Sir..."

There was some hesitation, there. To refuse an order - even a seemingly unlawful one - ran against the absolute loyalty instilled in the Clone. Fortunately for Cyphor, Commandos were a little more independant, and Kal's pod had been able to break their programing with rational thought. Still, there was allways that doubt. Though if Cyphor knew anything about Commandos, as oposed to Infantry, he should know there were always 4 commandos. Their 'pod'. Yet here was only one; the figure he'd been walking with certainly hadnt been human.

"With all due respect, sir...I would respectfuly request you turn off the saber. There are still Infantry patrols in the area, and that glow goes a long way on a helmet HUD."
