-- FOYDE --

A massively industrialised desert world located in the east of the 2nd sphere. It is refered to as 'Grand Echelon Two' for it's status as the joint most industrially important planet in the CDS, on par with 'Grand Echelon One'. Foyde played a pivotal role in the creation and expansion of the 3rd sphere, and approximately half of all colonisation authorities were based here during the aforementioned expansion. Though it's natural resources are poor, the modern Foyde is the heart of heavy secondary industry in the CDS, processing mined materials imported from the 3rd and 4th spheres and exporting the products to Wake for assembly and manufacture. The civilian population of Foyde are majoratively asylum seekers, escaping from the war-torn 4th sphere and attracted to the promise of employment here on Foyde.

-- CENTALON VI --

An important ecumenopolis in the east of the 2nd sphere, sixth planet of the Centalon system. As joint most industrially important planet in the whole CDS, it is nicknamed 'Grand Echelon One'. Like it's economic neighbour, Foyde, it played a massive role in the colonisation of the planets in the 3rd sphere, and at the time was the base of all colonisation authorities that weren't based on Foyde. The higher levels of Centalon VI's city are home to respected upper class citizens and politicians, most of them becoming businessmen within hours of migrating here. Below the shroud of astoundingly large factories, however, is a planet-wide underslum. The people in this underslum live in extremely unsanitary and squalid conditions without a shred of sunlight, downtrodden by people from the upper levels. The CDS keeps an air of ambiguity about the existance of the underslum.

-- LOGONEE --

A serene ocean world, located in the south-west of the 2nd sphere. It had the autonomy to pursue it's own agenda during the 3rd sphere colonisation, and led by the controversial Tokomaton Industries, colonised the sector of space now known as the Tokomaton Hemegony (the trapezium shaped region south of Logonee). Logonee's surface is covered by a deep and vast ocean, home to innumerable numbers of aquatic fauna. The populace of Logonee live on small artificial continents that hover above the ground by advanced suspension technology. It is effectively ruled by the imperialist Tokomaton Industries, and is the de facto capital of the Tokomaton Hemegony, also effectively ruled by the firm. The CDS does not consider Logonee important, instead focusing on colonisation and industrialisation of the eastern CDS, and as such the laws are only loosely enforced here. The corporatocracy can be considered despotic by some.

-- VERZA --

Verza is the cyber center of the CDS, located in the north-west of the 3rd sphere. It's computer 'fields' process many exobytes of information every day, and is effectively the heart of the internet and it's information. Society on Verza revolves around telecommunication and virtual interface as opposed to physical activity, making the populace the most up-to-date in the whole CDS. Verza's ecosystem contains unique fauna and foliage of special scientific interest, and the urbanisation of the planet's surface is monitered and limited accordingly by many conservation authorities. The networking technology of Verza is praised for exponentially accelerating the growth rate of the CDS.

-- HYTE --

A developing terran planet in the south-west of the 3rd sphere. The planet was put on the brink of anarchy after the CDS cut off economic aid, however the situation is now a little more stable since it came to the attention of civil agencies. Much of the planet surface is covered by dense forest, and human population is limited to low-tech cities situated randomly. Despite being the main hyperspace node for the 3rd sphere, traders tend to ignore the planet and move to other more commercial worlds, such as Himoto III and Verza. The modern Hyte is in the media spotlight after the discovery of strange relics on the planet's moon, Kend, which some have speculated may be inactive hyperspace portals. The past isolation of Hyte has been considered a constitutional crisis for the government.
