Kal didnt seem to be looking for conversation; he was on the lookout for threats. Whenever they passed a patrol shining glowsticks where his face might be spotted, Kal always seemed to be just behind someone taller then he was, and the troopers fail to see their own face in the crowd.

Morad's elbow comes back from the nudge wet, but Kal only shakes his head; so minutely the other may well miss it.

'Steal the speederbike. Brilliant. Why didnt I think of that?' Kal's lips jerk in a smile for Twitch's sarcasm

'Noisy, stupid, suicidal, and utterly Jedi-like. Why doesnt he just light up the saber right here to top it all off?' And Boomer with his two credits

But Chief, as always, was quick to reign in his brothers. 'Lock it up, he's a kid. Jedi Commander or not, he probably doesnt know the first thing about warfare, especialy not our kind.'

"Hopefuly he learns quick." As before, Kal is unawares that he murmurs aloud to voices no one else could hear. He drifts off to the side of the crowd as they approach that alley, however. If there were criminal operations going on in the middle of a lockdown, there was a back door. No checkpoints, no ID-scans. That would be their target.

A troop transport roars by overhead, bringing reinforcements, and Kal reaches back to grip the Jedi's shoulder, pulling him in a quick maneuver to prevent anyone from noticing their departure from the main stream as the commando slides into the shadowy alley the skinny hooded one just occupied.

One hand remains on his Deece, as always, and his eyes are already scanning the dark for threats.
