Elliot awoke from the stasis sleep and heard the computer rambling on about something dealing with stasis statistics and results. He slowly climbed out and stepped down on the cold chrome floor. He headed past a couple of other stasis pods and out of the room. He moved lazily down the corridor, rubbing off the stasis effect from his eyes, and into the navigation room. He pulled up a holographic map of the surrounding solar system. The computer's AI voice was informing of the recent planety find. He examined the Class B planet and pulled up as many data readings that the computer could collect. He scanned through them and noted the inhabitable environment, the fertile soil, the multiple climates, the exotic and interesting wild life, and most importantly, the fact that he couldn't see any native intellegent life forms. Perhaps this planet wasn't hostile and could due for the distant home that they had been searching for. Elliot let out a long yawn and decided to head over to his quarters to shower and dress.

By the time that Elliot was finished throwing on his EPT uniform and fixing his hair (something he was a fanatic about) the rest of the crew was up and moving around; rejoicing over the discovery. He walked into the mess hall (which was three stories tall, revealling two round-about balconies, and enough food lines to match the cafeteria of a mall) and fixed himself a cup of coffee in the coffee line. He took a long sip, despite the burning sensation to the tongue, and smiled at the delicious taste. He had forgotten how much the stasis sleep sucked his taste buds dry. His stomach growled like crazy and felt like eating a nice, juicy steak. In fact, he headed towards the breakfast lane in a hurry to get ahead of the traffic of that he knew was going to be crowding the lines any minute now. He wanted to get to those breakfast burritos before anyone else did.
