Angela looked with with a smirk, "Someone has to keep us informed about whats going on at home. Besides I am now a proud Aunt of twins, so keeping this around is very useful indeed." she says to Elliot then looking over at Deitmar, "Now Lt. Colonel no need for such formalities, not when we are dinning privately and especially not so early in the morning. Ok?" she says giving him a friendly smile, then turns back to Elliot, "If it was up to you I'm sure we would have conquered some of the weaker races we came across and then just moved in." she teases him as she took another bite of her pancakes as his son approached and sat next to her, "Good morning Leander. I hope I can count on you today with analyzing some data for us?" she says giving him a wink, which he nodded blushing a bit before looked continued on with her senior officers. "But I do agree with you on this one Elliot, we are not going to wait for all the paper work and political red tape. Which is why I have...hmmm...how should I put this? I have already sent all of the necessary paper work ahead, with some colorful text so that it will pass through inspection unmolested." she said smiling, knowing that she had probably broken enough codes and regulations to cause a hearing later but not caring at the moment. She had family back on earth who was counting on her and this planet might be the key to saving the human race.
"So gentlemen, we need to work on a team who is going to go down for the first landing. I am taking the right as the captain to put myself on the team." she looks both of them in the eye daring them to challenge her, "Both of you will be needed as well, so all we need to do is get another four people and we have ourselves an away team." she grabbed up her screen and made it bigger so that it was about the size of an old laptop screen, that way they could all see a full display of the planet. "Here is all the data we have so far on the planet, from our long range sensors. As we get closer we will be able to get more detailed readings, but at the moment it does not appear to have any life forms of the human intelligence or higher. Which is good because that means we wont be in conflict with anyone else. The air is breathable, land fertile and there are multiple climates so not only is it well suited for us, but we could save the animals, insects, plants etc of earth." she looked up and met their gaze, "We may be looking at our new home."
