Character Name: Lin Mu-Yin
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Physique:
Is it a pic that you were looking for? I'll change it if I misinterpreted it.
Occupation: Architect
Short Bio: Lin was born in Chicago to Chinese immigrant parents from Hong Kong, who were tragically killed in a plane crash when she was 20. The grief soon proved to much to handle and she sold their apartment and got rid of their things, and moved to Middletown to start a new life and try to forget her past. (I'll expand on this soon. Thats all I could think of as of now.)

Introduction:

Lin spread the blueprint out in front of her, scanning the floor plan of the lobby, comparing it to her design. The place was practically falling apart. Originally, the building had been a beautiful inn situated in the center of town, but now, it was an outdated, dilapidated, petri dish of mold and filth. The owners had hired her to make it "dazzling" as she remembered them saying, but it would be hard, based on what she could see. Her team had already gutted the entire place, and were waiting for her to give them a go on her final design. Soon, she gathered her papers and walked down the single flight of stairs to the dust filled lobby. She looked around, and noticed that one of the workers was gone. "Hey! Where's John? I didn't tell anyone they could leave!" she said, looking at the others. One of them started to speak. "He said he was going outside for a smoke... I don't know where he went..." he said, stuttering.

She sighed, and stepped outside, glancing around both ends of the street. No John. She walked to her right, down the small path that led down the side of the inn. There was a fresh cigarette on the ground. "John? You better get back in there before I fire you. I already told you that you can't smoke on the job." she said, taking a couple steps forward. Where is he? she thought to herself. This thought was quickly answered.
As she walked around a small hedge, a figure could be seen next to her. It was John, but at the same time it wasn't. His skin was dry and peeling rapidly, his eyes had lost color and were rolled back, and weirdest of all, his open mouth revealed almost completely black gums. She gasped. "John, are you okay?" she whispered. His head slowly rose, and his eyes narrowed on her. He let out a snarl, showing his foaming mouth. Within a second, his arm had lunged at her, narrowly missing her face, causing her to fall on the stone-patio ground.

Immediately getting back up, she backed away slowly, not moving her eyes off the creature that used to be her employee. It followed her to the front, where the others ran out to see what was going on. There was a toolbox on the steps next to her. She opened it, taking a long wrench out and gripping it in her hand. "What the hell is wrong with him?!" the others yelled. In the blink of an eye, Lin rose the wrench, and swung it into his neck. The crack was loud. She dropped the wrench, and looked at him. Whatever was affecting him, it wasn't human. The other workers looked on, jaw-dropped. "You just killed John!" they said, rushing over to him. "Don't touch him!" she screamed, holding one of them back.

"And whatever that thing was, it wasn't John anymore. I don't know what it was..." she said, pulling out her PDA and opening the news application. Her eyes scanning over the screen, thoughts began to flood her mind. "This is happening all over. Oh my god... Pack up everything and go home! And leave him there!" she yelled running inside, grabbing her things then getting into her car, making sure she had all the windows closed. Turning on the radio, she braced herself to hear whatever she needed to hear. At this point, there were countless numbers of cases across the country, even some international. Surprisingly, they gave no reason to as why this was happening. This scared her. If there was no way of knowing the source of the problem, there was no way of knowing the solution to the problem.
