Some patrol officers went and helped the poor gilr and got her contact information. Em looked to her and then to down at her hand. She wondered, 'Was I just given a high five?' She wondered. 'More like a low five...' She thought and sighed. Already she felt like she was an outcast of the team. If they even really called them selves one.
Emily just put on her usual smile and went to work on getting the bullet out of the body, though she wondered if she should wait for the medical examiner, if they had one. The girl crouched near the body but then stood up, she couldn't take it out of the pool. It wasn't her place. Already she had doubts about this. It was hard being the new girl that no one liked or wanted to get to know. Then again, work was work. And work was not surely not a social event.
