Entirely oblivious to the commotion just outside his window, Christopher had shrugged as his elder brother had turned his back to him, leaving the room. What made the two of them so different? Was it not more prudent to rule with intelligence than brute strength?
For a few minutes, Christopher fell into such deep contemplation that his thoughts began to become muddled, finally becoming lulled into a state of semi-consciousness, as the mid-afternoon sun beat down on his someone loose though of course, never sloppy, seeing as tradition would not allow it, midnight blue tunic. That mildly pleasant state was most rudely shattered when the young prince found himself being whisked out of his window with such an acceleration that he seemed to leave his innards back at the window sill.
After his nausea subsided and he began to become accustomed to the idea of flying in the arms of this, whatever it was, some sort of reptilian creature that he could not quite see, surely not what he thought it was, Christopher could not help but gaze upon the towns and villages of Metedane that appeared, from this height, to be tiny blurs. The forests and grasses dominated the rolling landscape until the pair reached the mountains, gray and mildly foreboding. It was, in a sense, an incredible thrill to see so much from a new perspective. After all, how many humans ever had the chance to fly? The only problem was that by the time the young scholar had grown comfortable enough to enjoy the views, he had almost forgotten that he was now a captive. His mind had already wondered to this amazing opportunity.
This changed quite quickly when they reached the cave, however. When this strange creature finally set him on the ground, Chris turned to look at it more closely. No, it cannot be. They are creatures of lore! They don’t exist!! Certainly no where near Metedane! But then it occurred to him, they were no where near his homeland. This, dragon, as strange as that was to believe, had captured him, for what purpose, he could not know. So for now, out of fear, he walked in quietly, frightened for his life at the moment. That would likely change soon, however.

RP Business Card: Spoiler Writing Level:
I am quite literate, though the flowery language that Advanced roleplays seem to require is a skill that I am working to improve. Depending on the story and my partner, I write anywhere from Casual to a High End Casual/Advanced level. It really depends on the needs of the story and what I am given to work with. Preferred Genres:
Fantasy This is a very enjoyable genre for me. I find it very flexible. I can pretty much do anything in this, but I like deep settings and well developed cultures and characters the most.
Science Fiction This is also a fun genre, with a lot of potential. I will do either a story with humanity existing at some point in the future, or an entirely different, more technologically advanced world. I am not against starting with ideas from other sources, but in execution, we need to make it somewhat original.
Other: I will consider other genres, but I prefer some exciting and extraordinary elements. I get enough of real life in well, real life. But, if it is a plot that I find interesting, I will try most anything. Also, I love psychological conflict, whether intra- or interpersonal. Activity: I cannot guarantee any certain speed due to a crazy school schedule. Due to demands of school and quality, expect delays of up to two weeks, and I will let you know if it will be longer. Also, if possible, I would appreciate a similar courtesy and level of activity. Preferred Type of Play: I prefer 1 on 1 roleplays simply because you are only counting on one other person to be active. However, if I find the story interesting, and the other people involved are known to be active, I would not turn down a high end casual or advanced small group roleplay. Random: I edit posts very often, to correct errors and/or improve the wording, and use a lot of allusions if the story permits. Overall, I like to have depth and real conflict in my stories, especially social, cultural, and philosophical issues, not some random cheesy junk. Also, I have zero problems with cliche's if we add creativity and depth.
