Tipping her head to the side, the girl smiled. "Perhaps I'm in for more then I thought." She said as she watched him, almost amused. In truth, she had no clue at how to act around him. She was only use to dragons, and those had no respect for anyone if they didn't have more treasure. And then it was a resentful respect. "Alright, I'll explain." she said agreeably. "But work with me, I'm not use to humans. They're such small creatures, I tend to try to avoid them, even if we are cousins."
Shrugging she turned from him, entering a room that was actually human sized. Door and everything. "This is your room. Need anything? Just tell me, I'll do my best to keep you comfortable." She promised, letting her fire move from the palm of her hand to one of her fingers. Smiling at the happy little flame, she walked over to light a few lamps, then walked to the fire place. Blowing on the fire, it shot out like her dragon's breath, filling the fire place with a crackling, cheery fire that smelled of....cinnamon?
Frowning slightly as she sniffed the air, she sighed. "Sorry if you don't like the smell, I knew I shouldn't have taken the logs Totsuo gave me." She said with a sigh. "His human was obsessed with the smell. No wonder he ate her so soon after getting her." Shaking her head, she took a seat on one of the many chairs in the room, then looked at the prince. "Have a seat."
Watching him as if highly curious, which she was, she followed him with her eyes, letting them flick all over his body, studying his every move. She understood him as little as he understood her. He intrigued her. Particularly the way he stood up for what he thought was right. She'd never met a dragon's princess who would do that. Of course, this was a prince, so she expected him to be different. But still.
"Alright, I suppose if you found me rude, I'll have to apologize. So, I'm sorry. Now, I'll answer your questions." She promised, deciding it could do no harm to do so. "But you have to answer mine first. What is your name?" That was all she wanted to know for now. She couldn't expect to call him 'human' the whole time. And, though he was a pet, of sorts, he already had a name, and she thought it easier to call him by that name then to make up a new one and confuse them both.

Swords and daggers may break my flesh....... ........but man are they shiny! Talking things out might be the right thing to do, but sword fighting is so much more fun!
