Okay, here's a small list of familiar weapons for most people.

The ever popular M16. Really, a fine assault rifle. But an old one with a flaw that makes it not so much the little darling of the army mostly because they're cheap bastards who want nothing but 100% better.

It has something called a Direct-Impingement Gas system. Which means the gasses expelled from the round is sprayed right back into the chamber. It's easier to care for and cheaper, but it fouls up like crazy in the right envrioments (I.E. Desert) But for anywhere else, I'd probably use it. Provided it wasn't some long extended fighting.

This is the weapon I'd want if anything really shitty went down. The AK-47. You can't stop this thing from firing. It's literally impossible. I've heard a story in Veitnam about Marines pulling out a Veitcong corpse from months of muck and grime all over him. One of the marines just dusted off the assault rifle and fired 30 rounds.

In short, if zombies actually did come. I'd want this thing.

Can somebody say "Buckshot tango?" The USAS-12 is just sort of a shotgun I'd love to have all the time. Semi-automatic with I believe 10 round mags or 20 round drums.
