"It's nothing too special," Elliot said, despite the fact that he loved the suit as much as the next guy did. "I'm going out for a test procedure. I'll be floating around outside the ship if you need me." He scurried off with a smirk on his face. I'll be floating around...? That was gay, he thought. Elliot marched through the corridors to make his way to the air lock station that gave direct access to the exterior. He passed by S.A.R.A along the way. She looked intent on heading towards the bridge; probably to talk with the captain. Elliot knew of her stress onboard the ship, being around a crowd of humans all the time and taking the crap and prejudice thrown at her left and right. He felt sorry for the android, but then again, he barely knew it...or her.

Elliot let his mind refocus on where he was going. Unfortunatly, he did this too late and ran smack into a wall, drawing the attention of a few laughing comrads. "Careful there, Commander. Wouldn't want you to knock yourself into a comma before the big recon mission, now would you?"

Elliot smiled with a little embarrasment and laughed with them. "I guess not," he said. He turned and kept going down the corridor, rubbing his head along the way and checking to see how big of a bump would soon arise from the skull. God damn wall, he commented in his thoughts. He finally reached the air lock station and stepped inside the first lock. The procedure started up with the vacuum of all gases in the chamber. While it was doing this, Elliot covered his head with his visor and locked it tight around the collar of the suit. Next, came a series of loud clicks and clanks as the blast doors behind him closed tight. Finally, the red light above the exit doors turned green and they opened up, revealing deep space behind a blue energy barrier. The barrier showed where the artificial gravity simulation came to an end. Once outside that barrier, he would be as light as a feather with only the suit's stabilizer functions to control him. Elliot took a deep breath from within his visor and ran forward, leaping out into space, through the barrier. As his body passed the barrier, he felt an odd sensation in his stomach as the gravity released his body and he went tumbling outside of the Elyandra.

He activated the suit's stabilizing mechanisms and used the small air jets to give him a shove up to the top of the ship. The suit's energy cells were constantly producing artifical oxygen that wouldn't cause any harm to Elliot's body. The air would be diverted to his visor for him to breathe, and to the small jet pack on his back that would allow him to move and stabilize himself in space. The jets gave Elliot enough of a push to rise up to the windows of the bridge. He waved at the navigational officers on deck as they smiled and waved back, thinking he was an idiot. The ship was on temporary standby. They would ignite the thrusters once Captain West finished up the paperwork. They were three days away, but sitting ducks. This is what allowed Elliot the time to stretch his legs in space. Elliot finally made his way around the bridge itself to the windows that peered into the Captain's Quarters. There he saw her at her desk filling out the paperwork. He used the jets to get himself closer to the window. She still hadn't seen him, so he decided to joke around with her. He got up real close and tapped on the glass with the end of the rifle in his hands.
