Kinga turned her head slightly, looking this new doctor up and down. After observing her competition, she put her chin up as if superior. Inside, she was a gentle person but this job was the most important thing for her right now. If she could somehow discomfort him, perhaps it could help her in the long run. In fact, the words that came out of her mouth quite surprised her because she normally was not a strong person. All the years of being taught that men were the dominant sex had brainwashed her up until now. Now she was a free woman but still the tone of her voice was something new to her, something strange, but never the less she did enjoy the new feeling of power and womanhood.
"Can you read the sign on the door? And if you're here for the internship, you are too late. He called me this morning and basically told me that I had the job." Her slightly English accent also helped in her quest to sound professional however after she had spoken she felt a bit uncomfortable and almost sorry for her words. Without noticing, she put her hand up to her neck and turned around, resuming the tapping of her foot. She didn't want to look into his eyes as that was a sure sign of defiance. Her fiance would never have tolerated something like that.
