After hanging up the phone succeeding his call to Dylan, Dr. House sat in his chair and picked up his guitar. He could have, should have called a few more applicants, especially if he wanted his game to be exciting. He had thought of a new plan, a first task for his little lab rats with PhDs. He was happy, which was a rare state of mind for Dr. House, so he played a lighthearted melody on the guitar while he waited for his harried interns to arrive, or call, or sue him. Playing guitar always filled House with joy, especially just prior to messing with the lives of young new doctors.

A gentle knocking came at the door and House smiled with anticipation. He knew who it was and he was so excited to start his little game. He strummed a little louder as he finished up the melody he was playing before putting the guitar down and reaching for his cane. He stood up and made his way to the door. He noticed, through the glass door, a man walk up to Kinga. He was young and started to talk to her, likely this was Dylan. House was glad to see that both of them arrived quickly, even if they were “late.”

Opening the door Dr. House looked directly at the Indian woman and uttered, quite sarcastically, “Umm, where is the Chicken Tikka Masala I ordered? You expect to get paid and you do not even do your damned job.” Dr. House shook his head in disgust; the torture had begun and soon he would know if these people really took being doctors seriously or not. House then focused on Dylan, “Ah! You must be my new Doctor. Welcome aboard and get to work. First task is to cover your clinic hours. Go to the walk-in clinic, sign in on the log, note that you are covering for Dr. House, and work the clinic for the next three hours. When you are done come back to me, but not a second sooner. Oh and take a second to introduce yourself to Dr. Cuddy. Let her know you work for me.” As is typical of House he spouted orders in a commanding tone while giving his subordinates little time to say anything until he was completely done. This of course was part of the game, nothing like leaving your subordinates with a mountain of orders and giving them no time to write them down.
